Run an inspection from the app
The inspection happens in front of the vehicle, not at the desk. The agent app is built for that: a few minutes in the car park and the file is complete.

Before you start
- The agent app is installed on an Android phone and you are signed in.
- The rental contract already exists for this reservation.
- You have a network connection: the app needs one to validate.
Step 1Open the contract and choose the type
From the contract, open the outgoing inspection for a pick-up, the incoming one for a return.
Step 2Record mileage and fuel
The screen reminds you of the vehicle's last known mileage so you do not mistype. The fuel level is picked in steps, from empty to full.
Step 3Mark damage on the vehicle
Touch the area on the diagram — front, rear, left side, right side, interior, wheels, lights, windscreen, bumper — then state the damage type and its severity. A misplaced marker can be repositioned; damage without a precise location can be added without a marker.
Step 4Take photos
Photograph each piece of damage you record, plus general views of the vehicle. A dated photo beats a description.
Step 5Have it signed and validate
The customer signs on screen. On validation, the app confirms that the pick-up inspection will be annexed to the signed contract.
What you get
The inspection is attached to the contract. The pick-up one becomes an annex to the contract PDF, with the damage, the observations and the photos. The mileage recorded updates the vehicle record and keeps oil change alerts reliable.
If it does not go as planned
- I am in a car park with no signal
- Save a draft first, then move to a covered spot to validate. The app does not work offline.
- The mileage is refused
- An odometer does not go backwards: the value entered must be greater than or equal to the last known mileage. Check you are reading the odometer and not the trip meter.
- I missed a piece of damage after validating
- A validated inspection is the reference version. Note the difference on return, by comparing with the annex to the contract signed at pick-up.
